The Challenge.

Agrivert, a leader in renewable energy and organic waste recycling, had acquired Chiltern Solar, a specialist in solar panel installation. The acquisition aligned with Agrivert's mission to drive environmentally friendly energy solutions, adding solar capabilities to its portfolio. However, integrating Chiltern Solar presented a significant branding challenge, the need to update its identity to align with Agrivert's image, while modernising it for contemporary audiences. 

The Approach.

The brand needed to complement Agrivert's core values of innovation, sustainability, and quality, without losing its unique identity. Operating in a competitive solar market, Chiltern Solar's brand refresh needed to enhance its presence and appeal, making it a preferred choice for sustainable energy solutions. Additionally, with both companies now under a shared identity, consistent application across digital and physical assets was crucial for maintaining a cohesive brand presence.

It began with an in-depth analysis of Chiltern Solar's existing brand, understanding its current market presence, strengths, and values. With these insights, we defined a refreshed brand identity that would be modern yet aligned with Agrivert's established values. 

We introduced a vibrant, eco-friendly colour palette, incorporating Agrivert's green tones to emphasise environmental consciousness, while adding contemporary accents to reflect the forward-looking vision of solar energy. 

A clean, modern font was selected, balancing readability with a sleek, professional look, chosen to be versatile across digital and print formats. Subtle, geometric shapes inspired by solar and clean energy technology were incorporated into the design, giving a nod to Chiltern Solar's core expertise while creating obvious similarities with Agrivert. 

We then created a comprehensive brand guidelines document, covering every detail of the new identity—from logo usage and colour schemes to fonts, image style and tone of voice. This document ensured consistency across all brand touchpoints, guiding the application of Chiltern Solar's refreshed identity on assets such as a new website, letterheads, business cards and other stationery including vehicle signage and equipment branding.
